My girls slept over at Gammy's Thanksgiving eve to help prepare. Well my mom decided to play a trick on them. She had Chip bring a brown egg in saying he found it at the barn. Well the brown egg had stamped on it "E.B." so my mom said it ment endangered bird. Then Chip pretended to call wildlife services and they said to keep it warm until it hatches. My mom said they told her to put it into the turkey. While my mom was preparing things Tawni was all stressed out and she took the egg, wrapped it in a napkin and hid it under my moms pillow. Then Tawni called her dad, after she talked to him she kept saying all night to Gammy "My dad thinks its a bad idea" (Dad never said that). After putting the egg in the turkey Tawni kept checking on it stressing all night long. When the turkey was done cooking they all checked on it and when my mom opened it a little leg fell out and they were all suprised (look at top picture). My sister even believed it. Then Gammy pulled it out of the turkey and Tawni believed it was a baby turkey all cooked. Megan finally caught on that it was a just cornish hen. I thought it was a great trick good one Mom.
