RELAY FOR LIFE

Hello Everyone….This year I have joined a great group of friends and family members together who will be participating in a fun and exciting community activity — the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. The Relay is a unique way to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. I am sending you this letter in request of your support for our efforts.Because cancer has affected us all in one way or another, we have decided to participate in the Relay For Life, sponsored by several area businesses and the American Cancer Society. We are asking you to support us in this effort by making a donation to the American Cancer Society.The Relay For Life is an all night walk/run event involving teams of 10-15 members who will keep at least one member on the track for a scheduled period of time. The Relay will take place at the Tooele City Park. Hundreds of people will be joining in the fight against cancer.In addition, I would like to invite you to attend the Luminaria Ceremony, which will take place at dusk that evening. Luminaria bags will be lit to honor cancer survivors and to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer.Our team’s goal is to raise money for research, educational programs, advocacy and patient services. By making a check payable to the American Cancer Society and returning it to me, together we can make a difference!Thank you in advance for your support!
