We stayed at the Hilton in Salt Lake City the girls went swimming with some Karate friends and and a good time. Tawni did not sleep very well. We went up and checked in about 8:30 a.m. and from there it was alot of Karate Kicks and cheering and waiting. It was such an experience we will not forget. Dyani walked away with third place and Tawni walked away with Second place! There sensei says that just to get a first timer out on the mat without them from freezing or quiting or anything like that is amazing so for the girls to place their first time was amazing. The next day they had many bruises tawni got kicked in the face and Dyani had got kicked in the neck but after a day of rest they were sure glad they did it. Jerry and I are so proud of the girls to stick in there through nerves and scary fighting all day it was amazing! Congrats Girls!!
